Privacy Policy

Information on the processing and protection of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

The controller of your personal data is POMAS EU s.r.o., with registered office at Trenčianske Stankovce 3058, 913 11 Trenčianske Stankovce, Slovak Republic, ID (IČO): 50604724. If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data, you can contact us at pomas@pomas.sk or in writing at our registered address.

2. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes: (a) Handling inquiries and communicating with clients based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR); (b) Selection procedures and recruitment of new employees or subcontractors via the Careers section based on pre-contractual relations (Art. 6 par. 1 lit. b GDPR) or your voluntary consent (Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR); (c) Compliance with our legal obligations, especially in tax and accounting areas (Art. 6 par. 1 lit. c GDPR).

3. Categories of Processed Data

We only process personal data that is strictly necessary for the given purpose. This includes: contact details (name, surname, email address, phone number), professional details in your CV (education, work experience, skills, languages), and online identifiers (IP address, cookies for traffic analysis).

4. Recipients of Personal Data

Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized employees and associates within the POMAS Group (Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland). Data may be provided to our external contractors (e.g. IT service providers, web hosting, accounting consultants) who are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection contracts. We do not sell or transfer personal data to third countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

5. Data Retention Period

We store personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the specified purposes: (a) Contact form data for the duration of the communication and up to 2 years thereafter; (b) CVs of unsuccessful job applicants are deleted after the selection process unless you give us explicit consent to keep them in our database for future opportunities (up to 3 years in that case).

6. Your Rights under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the right to: (1) Request access to your personal data; (2) Request rectification of incorrect or incomplete data; (3) Request erasure of your data (right to be forgotten); (4) Request restriction of processing; (5) Data portability to another controller; (6) Object to processing based on legitimate interest; (7) Withdraw your consent at any time.

7. Cookies and Settings

We use necessary cookies for core website functions. With your consent, we also use analytical and marketing cookies to analyze traffic and optimize content. You can change your settings or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the 'Cookie settings' button at the bottom of the page or via the floating settings icon.

8. Right to File a Complaint
